Meet Mo
Hi, I'm Mohamed Saad — Accredited Exercise Physiologist and founder of Move with Mo. With close to a decade of experience working across multiple major metropolitan hospitals in Melbourne, I've had the privilege of helping people through some of the most challenging moments of their lives — from recovering after a heart attack, to rebuilding strength during cancer treatment, to regaining independence after a stroke.
I started Move with Mo because I believe exercise has the power to genuinely change lives. Not just physically — but in confidence, independence, and quality of life. That belief shapes how I work. I don't just treat a condition; I take the time to understand the whole person — their goals, their circumstances, and what matters most to them.
Whether you're an NDIS participant working toward greater independence, an older adult wanting to stay strong and safe at home, or someone managing a chronic condition through a GP care plan — I'm here to build a program around you, your goals, and your life.

Frequently Asked Questions
An Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) is a university-trained allied health professional specialising in the design and delivery of exercise programs for people with chronic health conditions, disabilities, injuries, and complex medical needs.
AEPs are accredited through Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA) and are recognised providers under Medicare, NDIS, and My Aged Care. Unlike personal trainers, AEPs are clinically trained to work alongside your medical team and manage exercise safely in the presence of complex health conditions.
If you have an NDIS plan, Exercise Physiology is typically funded under your Capacity Building budget. This is the part of your plan designed to help you build skills, increase independence, and improve your ability to participate in daily life. You do not need to organise the billing or paperwork yourself.
Once you are set up with Move with Mo, we handle the claiming process directly with your Plan Manager. To get started, speak with your Support Coordinator or Plan Manager and ask them whether Exercise Physiology is included in your plan. If you are not sure, call Mo directly — we are happy to help you work out what is available to you and how to access it.
Move with Mo accepts self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants.
Yes. Exercise Physiology is available as an Early Childhood Support under the NDIS for eligible children. EP for children may support conditions including cerebral palsy, acquired brain injury, developmental coordination disorder, neurological conditions, and other disability-related movement and functional needs.
If your child has an NDIS plan or is being assessed through the Early Childhood pathway, speak with your NDIS Early Childhood partner or Support Coordinator about including Exercise Physiology in their plan. You are also welcome to call Mo directly to discuss whether EP is the right fit for your child's needs.
Exercise Physiology is an allied health service funded under My Aged Care, including the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) and the Support at Home program, which replaced Home Care Packages from November 2025.
To access services, contact My Aged Care on 1800 200 422 to arrange an assessment, or speak with your existing care coordinator about adding Exercise Physiology to your care plan. No GP referral is required to make an initial enquiry — simply call Mo directly and we can help guide you through the process.
Yes. If you have a chronic health condition that has been present or is expected to last six months or more, your GP can refer you to an Exercise Physiologist under a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan. This provides Medicare rebates for up to 5 individual Exercise Physiology sessions per calendar year.
If you have Type 2 diabetes, you may also be eligible for up to 8 group Exercise Physiology sessions per year. Ask your GP whether a CDM plan is right for you — or simply mention that you would like a referral to Move with Mo for Exercise Physiology.
Move with Mo accepts private health insurance from all major health funds. Clients with extras cover that includes Exercise Physiology may be eligible for a rebate on their sessions.
Cover and rebate amounts vary depending on your fund and policy level. Contact us directly to discuss your specific health fund and we can help clarify what applies to you.
Mo has conversational proficiency in Arabic and is able to support Arabic-speaking clients with exercise instruction, program guidance, and general communication throughout their sessions. We are proud to serve Melbourne's Arabic-speaking community and ensure that language is not a barrier to accessing quality exercise care.
